We are looking for a tenured Licensed Auto Body Technician to join our team.
As a licensed Auto Body Technician at Pfaff Autoworks, you will be for working with one of most skilled and talented teams in the country. Whether it’s repairing a new supercar or performing an extensive restoration on a classic, every day presents new challenges and opportunities to showcase your skills.
Pfaff Autoworks is certified by 14 automotive manufacturers for collision repair, and our capabilities extend to multi-material structures that include aluminum and carbon fibre. Our state-of-the art facilities also include the latest paint booths and equipment, and the ability to recalibrate sophisticated driver assistance systems. In order to maintain our manufacturer certifications, we invest heavily in training for our staff to ensure they have the knowledge, equipment, and support to excel.
Primary Responsibilities:

Work with repair planners to disassemble vehicles to blueprint and determine accurate repairs and costs.
Review manufacture procedures to determine proper course for repairs.
Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of repairs performed.
Identify most efficient manner to repair each vehicle.
Set-up vehicles on frame benches for structural pulling and or panel replacement
Welding panels and structure on steel and aluminum.
Bonding and riveting panels.
Repair dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers.
Repair and or welding of plastic components.
Utilizing dent pullers both steel and aluminum as well as glue pulling when possible.
Performing plastic filler work as needed.
Audit work and sign off on all body repairs prior to passing to next department.
Commitment to grow professionally and personally.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a licensed body technician.
Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent.
Red Seal Certification 310-B
Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
Ability to drive a manual transmission.
Valid passport – (some travel for training is a possibility)
I-Car training
Strong work ethic
Positive attitude with the ability to work in a team.
Prior experience with welding Aluminum an asset.
