RESPONSIBILITIES
Souris Collision and Glass is seeking an experienced Collision Repair Technician or 2 – 3 year apprentice to join our team.
As a Collision Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and expertise in automotive repair. If you have a passion for cars and enjoy working in a team environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities include;
· Repair and/or replace structural and non-structural panels as listed on the repair estimate in an efficient manner.
· Removal of exterior and interior trim required for paint.
· Metal straightening and the application and use of body filler as required.
· Understand and participate in vehicle repair plan and production meetings.
· Follow and comply with all O.E.M. procedures and guidelines.
· Use of electronic diagnostics equipment for pre & post repair scans.
· Communicate with paint and managing departments to ensure seamless repair flow.
· Report any hidden and unforeseen damages to managing staff for additional repairs for review.
· Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, including the use of PPE and proper vehicle protection throughout repair.
· Working closely with repair planner/production manager to ensure vehicles are repaired according to manufacturer and safety standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Trades License (Red Seal License)
- Driver's License
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
