As a Disassembly technician, your main duty is to quickly and thoroughly take apart a designated vehicle, allowing the Shop Foreman or assigned repair technician to create a comprehensive repair plan. You should be skilled at solving problems in a tactical manner and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while also collaborating effectively with your colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

• Promptly attend to assigned vehicles
• Verify that proper authority is granted prior to teardown
• Perform a complete teardown to include the removal of items needed to paint or blend panels
• Prompt notification to the Shop Foreman when teardown is complete
• Assist the Shop Foreman, and or repair technician as needed in preparing a complete scope
• Assist the parts department as needed in their ordering of correct parts
• Properly label and store all parts and fasteners in a manner to avoid loss or damage
• Maintain a good working relationship with other employees, customers and vendors
