The Office Manager is in charge of overseeing the everyday operations of the collision centre’s office, ensuring precise and punctual financial reporting, and collaborating with General Manager and other managers to efficiently manage expenses and run the centre. They play a critical role in determining the collision centre’s financial success by using their industry experience and knowledge of all aspects of the repair process, including insurance guidelines, the Office Manager prioritizes providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include:

Tracking the collision centre’s effective labour rate
Comparing estimates to finished repair orders
Tracking all supplements
Calculating paint and materials gross profit
Evaluating results of the production scheduling system
Tracking shop performance
Must be a Hands-on Manager with the ability to perform, understand and train each position
Manage daily operations of the accounting department including cashiers and receptionists
Process payroll promptly
Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
Reconcile general ledger accounts and factory payable amounts
Process payroll, insurance claims and liability insurance
Ensure that internal financial controls and processes are in place and upheld
Cultivate a positive culture of excellence
