The role of the Repair Planner is to plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance or repairs within the collision center. They must follow instructions from supervisors and have excellent organizational skills to create detailed operation sheets. Additionally, the Repair Planner should be able to efficiently provide the necessary documents for the disassembly and assembly of vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform resource planning and scheduling for a 24-7 operation, which includes planning for maintenance tasks and assessing how the task will be completed, what tools are required and when the task can be performed
• Ensuring the availability of required inventory and non-stocked materials
• Oversee the scheduling and delivery of major equipment and materials
• Provide input to management and suggest improvements for efficiency
• Notify the manager of any problems or issues with inventory, planning and/or scheduling
